The low bid received is from Arcon Construction Co., Inc., 903 East Forest Avenue, Mora, MN 55051, in the amount of $537,666.26. At that meeting, Staff recommended tabling the award of this contract until the Comprehensive Guide Plan Amendment for the Section 31 Sewer Diversion and MUSA expansions were approved. Now that the Amendment and expansion are approved, Staff recommends the award of City Project No. 232 to Arcon Construction Co., Inc. in the amount of $537,666. RECOM1ENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONTRACT O'LEARY'S HILLS 5TH ADDITION STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS, CITY PROJECT #232. COUNCIL ACTION: 2 r P ■ CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 1992 A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR O'LEARY'S HILLS 5TH ADDITION STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT 232 BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, Minnesota, as follows: 1. All bids on construction of O'Learys Hills 5th Addition Street and Utility Improvements were hereby received on October 6, 1992 by the City Council. 2. The bid of Arcon Construction Co., Inc., in the amount of $537,666.26 for the construction of said improvements in accordance with the plans and specifications and advertisement for bids is the lowest responsible bid and shall be and hereby is accepted. 3. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of the City of Rosemount. 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of all successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been executed.
