Mr. Henry Nieland lives at 2067 135th Street West, which is a farm owned by
him and his mother, Betty Jane Nieland. This farm is located on the
northwest section of Bacardi Avenue and County Road 38 (135th Street.)
Mr. Nieland had applied and received a management hunting permit from the
D.N.R. prior to the passage and publication of the revised hunting and
shooting ordinance.
Mr. Nieland is seeking authorization from the City Council to hunt on his
property during the 1992 season.
An authorization is needed because the Nieland Farm is located in the
"R" area of the hunting and shooting map.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE A NON -TRANSFERABLE PERMIT
ISSUED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO AUTHORIZE
MR. NIELAND TO HUNT ON HIS PRIVATE PROPERTY
DURING THE 1992 HUNTING SEASON.
