This item is a request to authorize attendance of four firefightersatthe
1993 Minnesota State Fire Department Conference to be held in June. This
year the conference will be held in Rochester. We are requesting
authorization for attendance at this very early date because typically
registration materials arrive in late December or early January. This
event is well attended and classes, training sessions and motels always
fill up early.
Registration fees, lodging and all expenses for four persons is
approximately $1,600.00. Monies for attendance at this firefighter
conference has been budgeted for in 1993 in Account #101-42210-01-331
and 437.
RECO14MENDED ACTION:
Motion to authorize the fire department to send 4 firefighters to the
Minnesota State Fire Department Association Conference, with monies to
come from Accounts 101-42210-01-331 and 437 totalling approximately
$1,600.00
