As part of the Goal Setting process the City Council, in the past, has
utilized the "Town Hall Meeting to take public input and to provide a
report back to the General Public on the Goals established by the Council
in the last year and to ask the publics input in assisting the Council in
establishing goals in the next year.
This opportunity is taken at the end of the budget year in an attempt to
utilize this "year end" in summarizing activities and budget indicators in
communicating to the public.
I am recommending that this years Town Hall Meeting be held on December 16,
1992 at 7:00 P.M. here at.City Hall. In the past this event has been very
well attended and I would expect this year to be no exception.
On your approval to establish this date I will follow up on Novemeber 17th
with additional information on a recommended format and presentation for
that evening.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:Motion to establish the Town Meeting for ,1992 on
December 17th, 1992 at 7:00 P.M.
COUNCIL ACTION:
ROSEMOUNT TOWN MEETING
Your City Council Members and 1 invite you to the Rosemount Town Meeting on
December 20. The purpose of this gathering will be to review the goals which were pre-
sented to you at the Rosemount Town Meeting on April 30, 1990. Rosemount citizens will
also have an opportunity to hear about the activities which the City Council feels are key
issues to address within the upcoming year. I hope that you can find time in your busy
schedule to attend this important event on:
