Additions or Corrections to Agenda - Council, Staff, Audience
DEPARTMENT HEADS REPORTS/BUSINESS
a. Introduction of Parks & Recreation Secretary - Welcome Kerryl
b. Multi -Purpose Arena Presentation - Ron Pederson updated Council on ice
arena project in conjunction with Armory. No referendum needed. May
request funds from Port Authority. Advised he had written commitments
for ice time for next five years. Consensus of Council for support of
ice arena project as presented.
c. Fire Department Annual Report - Annual report by Fire Chief Scott Aker
d Introduction of Dave Hetland, Representative for Congressman Ramstad -
Encourage Council to contact him on any issues or questions.
4. CONSENT AGENDA - Approved

request of developer.

i. Set Special Council Meetings - May 7 meeting cancelled. Goal setting
meeting set for June 15.
j. 145th Street No Parking Resolution
5. OLD BUSINESS
a. Comprehensive Guide Plan Process - Approved schedule. Council approved
hiring of Fred Hoisington as consultant and hiring of intern to work on
Guide Plan.
b. City Facilities Study/Space Needs - Authorized staff to proceed with
the preparation of a referendum for this fall (September 15 or
November 3) for anew fire station, fire equipment and Public Works
remodeling.
c. Goal Setting Process - City Council and Department Heads. Approved use
of facilitator and will be held within City.
d. Airport Discussion - Councilmember Klassen will present City's position
on airport relocation at April 22, 1992 Met Council meeting at
Rosemount High School.
e. MVTA Update by Councilmember Klassen on 91-92 Marketing Study.
f. 145th Street - Motion passed by Council to reconsider 145th Street
project as a 3 or 4 lane road.
g. Staffs recommendation that Mr. Johnson must submit bond in amount of
$68,000 for new permit.
6. NEW BUSINESS
a. CMC Concept PUD - No action.
b. Utility Permit Application Fees for Private Utility Companies
Approved. Authorized staff to charge $50 permit fees.
c. Parks & Recreation Intern - Approved.

a. Rosemount Community Day on May 16, 1992 - Spring Clean-up Day, Rabies
Clinic and Park Improvement Day - Administrator Jilk presented plaque
City received from County. Rosemount recycled the most tons per capita
than any other City in County.
