Tanker Consent PREPARED BY: Scott Aker, Fire Chief AGENDA 1 W 11-1 M ATTACM1ENTS : APP BY None ,, r This item is a request for authorization to proceed with the replacement of two front tires on Fire Department Unit #35195, the tanker. The city mechanic, Dean Sandstrom, during a routine maintenance inspection found these front tires in need of replacement and suggested that it be done this summer. Dean has done some checking and indicates that the cost for the replacement of these two tires along with mounting, balancing and all the usual customary costs would be approximately $700.00. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to authorize the Fire Department to proceed with the replacement of the tires on the tanker at a cost of approximately $700.00 with monies to come from Account #101-42210-01-221.
