Attached please find a draft contract for relocation services to be
provided by the Dakota County HRA. Relocation services are needed at
present for Repairs, Inc. and Strese Oil. No work can be started prior to
contract approval.
Dakota County will be reimbursed at the rate of $30.00 per hour.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to recommend to the City Council approval of the draft Relocation
Services Contract with Dakota County HRA.
PORT AUTHORITY ACTION:
CONTRACT FOR RELOCATION SERVICES
THIS AGREEMENT, entered into as of this day of 1 1992,
by and between the Dakota County Housing and Redevelopment Authority
(hereinafter referred to as the "DCHRA") and the City of Rosemount Port
Authority, (hereinafter referred to as the "Authority"),
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the Authority is in need of certain relocation services related to
their development activities; and
WHEREAS, the Authority desires to engage the DCHRA to render certain
technical advice and assistance in connection with such undertakings of the
Authority,
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto do mutually agree as follows:
1. Scope of Service
The DCHRA shall perform necessary relocation services requested by the
Authority in connection with the implementation of various activities
carried out by the Authority. The DCHRA shall perform and carry out,
in satisfactory and proper manner as determined by the Authority, the
following
a. To act as "RelocationSpecialist" for the Authority as requested
and perform any and all technical duties entrusted it by the
Authority.
2. Time of Performance
The services of the DCHRA are to commence July 22 1992, and end
by agreement.
3. Compensation
The DCHRA shall be paid for the services outlined at the following
hourly rate: Dakota County HRA Community Development Supervisor -
$30.00 per hour.
4. Method of Payment
The DCHRA shall submit a monthly statement for its services,
disbursements, ',and expenditures authorized herein. It shall be paid
therefore upon a monthly basis. All separate and related matters
shall be identified in such statement in such form as the Authority
requires.
5. Termination of ',Contract
Either party may terminate this contract at any time by serving five
(5) days written notice to the other party of their intention to so
terminate.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Authority and the DCHRA have executed this
Agreement as of the day and year first above written.
