This software will be provided to us at no cost. Our only costs will involve getting the necessary help to get the system up and running, as we currently have, all of the hardware required to run the software package in-house. This software package should prove to be areal time saver to the Deputy Registrar and allow her to run that operation much more efficiently. At this time, we must pass a resolution which officially authorizes a person to sign the necessary documents to enter into the "agreement with the state. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR DEPUTY REGISTRAR'S ACCESS TO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY DRIVER LICENSE AND MOTOR VEHICLE RECORDS. COUNCIL ACTION: CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 1992 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR DEPUTY REGISTRAR'S ACCESS TO DEPAR'T'MENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY DRIVER LICENSE AND MOTOR VEHICLE RECORDS BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Rosemount enter into a contractual agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety - Division of Driver and Vehicle Services for the project entitled AGREEMENT FOR DEPUTY REGISTRAR'S ACCESS TO DEPARTMENT OF SAFETY DRIVER LICENSE AND MOTOR VEHICLE RECORDS BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Jeffrey A. May, Finance Directoar, is hereby authorized to execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the City of Rosemount. ADOPTED this 2nd day of March, 1992.
