1991 Year End Reports
and your staff for the time spent to compile the 1991 year end totals. All of us can be
rowth that the five cities have experienced - especially in 1991 when other sectors of
were nearly inactive.
The marketing and promotion potential of the fixe city cluster along the western edge of Dakota
County could be tremendous. In location, population, jobs (70% of all the jobs in the County)
households, ar d growth, these five cities have such similar patterns that we will consistently benefit
from each oth r. (Think of this Western Dakota County cluster of communities as one "market" and
you realize it is one of the top five in the state.)
I hope the yeaend statistics are useful to you and that we can do this again (and more of it) next year.
Your suggesti ns are welcome.

Strese Property Soil Analysis."
Preliminary Report of Results
March 23 and Tuesday, March 24, American Engineering
ig completed the soil analysis field work at the Strese
:ty. I have been in contact with Dan Pingel, the
inager and discussed his preliminary comments on the
that fieldwork.
ited to me that he felt that the contamination of the
aas "minimal". He indicated that in all of the core
iken there was either only a trace (2 ppm) or no
Aon at all below 5 feet._ Even what, on the surface,
:o be the worst area the contamination ran out at 5
Br indicated if one of the underground tanks would have
raight out the bottom of the tank that it is possible to
9mination directly below the tank which would not be
with this soil analysis. That would only be determined
tanks would be removed.
is is being done now and should be completed by 4 -10 -
final report to us in time for the April 21st meeting.
