Per your direction we have set a special meeting of the Port
Authority for 4-14-92 at 6:30 P.M.. I have drafted an agenda for
that meeting and contacted our legal and financial consultants to
be there and provide presentations in their specific areas.
We have also provided an invitation to the City Council and will
have this proposed agenda on the council's agenda for Tuesday
evening for discussion.
I will have a few brief -comments on Monday regarding this meeting
and hop you will have comments and discussion on the matter
also.
We clos d on applications for the Economic Development
Coordinator's position on Monday. We have received approximately
b fifty applications. There are, based on my cursory review,
several excellent ones. I will provide more on this matter at
the mee ing.
Mr. Joh Loch, representing the Rosemo t Chamber of Commerce,
spoke t the City Council at the last ty Council meeting

Council supported the concept and directed city staff to work
with Mr Loch on this idea and to report back to the council with
progres reports and to seek formal approval as needed.
I have placed this on our agenda for discussion and input. Since
one major focus of these kinds of programs is usually related to
trade and economic programs I felt that if this idea progresses
the Port Authority will surely be involved.
