Minutes of October 13, 1992 Special MeetingROSEMOUNT PORT AUTHORITY PROCEEDINGS SPECIAL MEETING OCTOBER 13, 1992 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the Rosemount Port Authority was duly held on October 12, 1992 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 2875 — 145th Street West. Chairperson Dunn called the meeting to order with all members present. Also present were Executive Director Jilk and City Attorney Mike Miles. Executive Director Jilk explained the purpose of the meeting was to authorize the issuance and set the sale of General Obligation Municipal Building Bonds, Series 1992E which will be issued through the Port Authority and utilized for the National Guard Armory project. Jilk also explained that the bids will be opened October 27, 1992, 11:00 a.m. at the offices of Springsted, Inc. Also discussed was the pending trip to Moody's in New York when the city's bond rating will be addressed and the hope that the city will maintain its current "A" rating. Commissioner Edwards requested clarification of the "Official Statement" paragraph of the resolution. City Attorney Miles explained that this statement assures potential buyers of the bonds that they will have the city's full cooperation in completing the sale. MOTION by Mawe to adopt A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE COMPETITIVE NEGOTIATED SALE OF $3,425,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION MUNICIPAL BUILDING BONDS, SERIES 1992E. SECOND by Sinnwell. Ayes: Mawe, Anderson, Wippermann, Dunn, McMenomy, Edwards, Sinnwell. Nays: 0. MOTION by Dunn to adjourn. SECOND by Anderson. Ayes: 7. Nays: 0.
