One of the reasons for this special council meeting was to authorize the
advertisement for the receipt of bids for the sale of bonds on the armory
project and other improvements the city was constructing.
I have been advised by our Financial Consultant, Mr. Dan Oneil, that in
order to prepare the complete advertisment documents it was not possible to
complete the work in time for the Council to take action on the 29th.
So action will not be requested of you until the regular Council meeting on
October 6th'. The bond sale will still take place on October 22 as planned.,
This delay in advertising will not delay the final sale or the projects
they will fund.'
