CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION
NOVEMBER 2, 1992
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a closed executive session of the
Rosemount Port Authority was called to order by Acting Chairperson Edwards
on November 2, 1992 at 5:45 p.m. in the Council Conference Room at City
Hall, 2875- 145th Street West.
Commissioners Mawe, Anderson, Wippermann, McMenomy, and Sinnwell were
present. Also present were Shawn Moynihan and Ms. Fluegel, City Attorneys,
and Lee Smith, Dakota County HRA.
The purpose of the closed session was to discuss the pending Strese
litigation and to discuss settlement of a purchase price. Also discussed
were relocation expenses for Rosemount Ice Company as required by the
purchase of the property.
MOTION by Mawe to give the City Attorney the ability to negotiate, on the
Port Authority's behalf, a purchase price with a cap of $101,000 to secure
the sale of the Strese property. It is also understood that discussions
will be held with the bank holding the mortgage and that the property shall
yield clean soil samples and have no liens against it as a basis for final
acquisition. SECOND by Sinnwell. Ayes: Sinnwell, Mawe, Anderson,
Wippermann, McMenomy, Edwards. Nays: 0.
MOTION by Sinnwell to adjourn the closed session. SECOND by McMenomy.
Ayes: 6. Nays 0.
