On hand for the meeting, will be representatives from Berkley
Insurance Company and also our agent, Steve Toombs, from Toombs
Insurance Company. Patty Fish, Marketing Representative from
Berkley, will be giving a short presentation regarding our premiums
and what Berkley has to offer the city. Also present from Berkley
to answer any questions that you may have, will be Mike Everest,
Loss Control, and Will Personuis, Underwriter.
In the past, a presentation such as this has not been given. Staff
feels that because insurance is such a large part of our budget,
and because it is such an important issue in today's world, it
would be appropriate to have these representatives here this
evening to give Council an idea of what staff is dealing with and
to answer any questions that you may have.
