This item is a request to spend approximately $2,0.00 to send three
applicants that we now have on;file for a doctor's physical. In the past
the cost of physicals have runabout $600 to $650 each.
Money that we did have in the budget for this particular line item has
already been spent. At the present time and looking at our overall budget,
however, it appears as though that if we look at all categories of the
budget we are approximately $9,,000 under budget at the present time. Our
request would be to charge this item to Account #101-42210-01-306 of our
operating budget and then underspend all other areas so that the bottom'
line of our budget does not exceed that which is authorized for 1991.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to allow the fire department
to send 3 applicants for doctor's
physicals,at a cost not to
exceed $2,000.
