The resolution is what is used as the agreement. The necessary forms have been received from our insurance agent. MnDOT reimburses us for loading snow. If they can't meet our timetable for them to windrow the snow for loading,- then they will also reimburse us windrowing snow with our grader. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt a resolution in cooperation with State for Snow Removal on Trunk Highway #3 COUNCIL ACTION: 1 CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 1991 - A RESOLUTION IN COOPERATION WITH STATE FOR SNOW REMOVAL ON TRUNK HIGHWAY NUMBER 3 WHEREAS, the City of Rosemount has been approached by officials of the Minnesota State Highway Department to enter into a cooperative Agreement for the removal of snow on Trunk Highway Number 3 within the City of Rosemount in Dakota County, Minnesota. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Rosemount City Council hereby authorizes and instructs its officers and employees to provide trucks as required by the Minnesota StateHighway Department for the removal of snow from Highway Number 3 with the City of Rosemount, the Agreement being that State equipment will plow, windrow and load the snow, and the removal and disposal will be by means of fully operated trucks furnished by the City of Rosemount; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Administrator be and hereby are authorized and instructed to execute two certified copies of this Resolution and deliver same to State Highway officials for this Maintenance District; and also to execute any additional instruments for this purpose that may be required by the Minnesota Highway Department. The ten-day review period officially should end today, but the City would like to extend that review period until December 27, 1991. This extension should provide adequate time for the City to become apprised of Dakota County's future course of .action regarding the incinerator. Please direct any questions regarding this extension to Lisa Freese, Director of Planning. Thank you for your consideration for this extension.
