Based on the recent decision by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to deny the
Dakota County Waste to Energy Facility Permit, the City of Rosemount would like to
request an extension of the ten-day review period for Guide Plan Amendment No. 20.
The ten-day review period officially should end today, but the City would like to extend
that review period until December 27, 1991. This extension should provide adequate
time for the City to become apprised of Dakota County's future course of .action
regarding the incinerator.
Please direct any questions regarding this extension to Lisa Freese, Director of
Planning. Thank you for your consideration for this extension.
Sincerely,
Stephan Jilk
City Administator
