After meeting with the ENFORS User group, we determined the best approach is to modify the stages of installation. We have broken down the Release 5.0 into two releases/installations: Release 5.0 - Release 5.0 will include the requested enhancements to the Records subsystem, reports, and searches/inquiries. Enclosed is the functional description of Release 5.0. Release 5.0 will be installed in the first quarter of 1992. Release 5.1 - Release 5.1 will include the actual NIBRS (UCR) Reporting fields. Release 5.1 will be installed in the fourth quarter of 1992. In March of this year we quoted your agency the cost of Release 5.0. The total cost will not change. For your agency that cost was $3100 with installation/training cost of $650 . This does not include the Super Search Module. If you elect to include that module your purchase cost would be $5,500. It is our intent to bill your agency in stages to correspond with the installations. The billings will be broken down as follows: Release 5.0 - $2100 with installation/training cost of $325 Release 5.1 - $1000 with installation/training cost of $325 Some departments have indicated that they wish to have the Release 5.0 installed this year so that they can be billed and pay for Release 5.0 from their 1991 budget. If this is your intent would you please advise us of that in writing, including a purchase order. If youhaveany questions, please don't hesitate to call. Sincerely, Ernest B.
