Expenditure for Portable ResuscitatorCITY OF ROSEMOUNT EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR ACTION CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: December 3, 1991 U --- This item is a request to spend $560.00 to purchase a portable resuscitator, Model x#175-030, including one jumbo "D" cylinder. This purchase would be from Medical Oxygen & Equipment Company. Money was applied for from Dakota County for the purchase of medical equipment. We had specified that we would purchase this portable resuscitator if the grant money did come through. The maximum amount allowed this year for grant money was $487.00. The Rosemount Fire Department was a recipient of that amount. If approved, we would purchase the resuscitator at a cost of $560.00, $487.00 of which would be reimbursed by the county, giving us a bill of $73.00. This $73.00 amount would be charged to Account 4101-42210-01-580. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to authorize the fire department to spend $560.00 for a portable resuscitator of which $487.00 will be reimbursed by the county.
