As you are aware, we currently have a Maintenance Level II position
vacant due to the promotion of Bob Barfknecht to Level III.
Due to my inability to discuss and review the hiring process and results
with Administrator Jilk, I will be providing a memorandum to you on
Monday, December 16, 1991.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve filling of the Maintenance Level
II position by promoting , effective December 23,
1991.

RE: Recommendation for Level II Position
We have completed our process for filling the Level II
Maintenance position, which included written test, equipment
operational test and oral interview.
We had four candidates, from our existing employees, file for the
position and take the tests and interview. From that process I
am pleased to announce that Eric Day has been selected to fill
the position.
It is my recommendation that effective December 22, 1991, Mr. Day
be promoted to Maintenance Level II at Step "A" of the range.
Upon successful completion of probation, he would then advance
through the steps of the range with annual adjustments as
outlined in the Union Contract.
