The fire department held its elections for the positions of Assistant Fire
Chief and Secretary of the Rosemount Fire Department. The persons who were
elected to these two positions are:
John Strese, Assistant Fire Chief - One year term
Dan Corrigan, Secretary - One year term
If the city council would concur with the results of the fire department
election, we would look to them to ratify these two persons for their
respective positions.
It would also be appropriate at the same time to swear these persons in for
one-year terms, unless, since they were the same persons who held the
positions in 1990, we could dispense with that particular activity.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion by city council to approve John Strese as Rosemount's Assistant
Fire Chief and Dan Corrigan as the Secretary for the Rosemount Fire
Department.
COUNCIL ACTION:
Approved.
