Attached is a map showing the 8.3 acres of land proposed to be
purchased from the`Gergen family for a -completion of Jaycee Park.
Dave Grannis and I have recently reached an agreement with Isadore and
Clarice Gergen to purchase the 8.3 acres for $9,500 and acre. The
total cost being $78,850. Gergens' will be responsible for and are
paying the back green acre taxes and a prorated amount of taxes
payable in 1991. Upon delivery of a check to them, they will deliver
fee title to the City of Rosemount.
Staff is asking for authorization to 'prepare and, make payment for
acquisition of this land. $50,000 would be drawn out of park
dedication funds and $28,850 would come out of the C.I.P.-Account #510
for this purchase.
