This is a recommendation to hold a Special Council meeting on June 6, 1991
at 6:30 P.M.. The purpose of the meeting will be to have discussion with
representatives of USPCI on the status of their project, the suggested move
to the University property and the completion of their permitting process.
I am recommending this special meeting be held following several
discussions with Mr. Ken Jackson of USPCI and Mr. Cary Perket, consultant
to USPCI.
The company is proceeding with their permitting process for the project on
Highway 55 and will have an item on the June 11, 1991 Planning Commission
meeting to consider the proposed Comprehensive Guide Plan Amendment for the
Hwy 55 site.
It is important that the company have an opportunity to meet with council
as a whole at this time.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
A motion to set a Special Council meeting for June 6, 1991 at 6:30 pm
to discuss the USPCI project.
