EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR ACTION
CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE. May 7, 1991

The city has received the attached letter and ,poem written and sent to us
by a young writer to Rosemount. In respect to its quality and content,
Council Member Klassen thought it would be appropriateto read it at a city
council meeting, have it published in our newspaper and have a letter of
thank you sent to its author.

Dear Brian:
Thank you so very much for taking the time and your talents to
write the poem "Minnesota".
It is so nice to hear the positive views of our city and state
when there are quite often only negative issues before us.
Our Council Member Klassen read your poem at our City Council
Meeting of May 7, 1991. A copy of the agenda is enclosed for
your keeping.
We hope you can visit Minnesota and Rosemount again soon. Have a
