Several members of the Dakota County Explorers, Post x#523,have agreed to
volunteer their time to the Rosemount Community Clean Up Day to be held
this Saturday, May 4, 1991. The Explorers will be on duty from 7:00 a.m.
to 3:00 p.m. to assist with traffic control and miscellaneous duties
surrounding the collection.
Without the assistance of the Explorers, the City of Rosemount would have
had to pay for City employees to staff the collection or reimburse Knutson
Services, Inc.,. for staffing the collection. While the Explorers do not
require or request payment for their services, City staff respectfully
requests that the City of Rosemount 'make a donation in the amount of $100
to the Dakota County Explorers Post 4523 to express our appreciation for
their part in making the Rosemount Community Clean Up Day ;a success.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to authorize a'donation from the City of
Rosemount to the Dakota County Explorers Post #523 in the amount of
$100 to be taken fromaccount#101--41110-01-307.
