This item is a request to spend $825.00 to send 5 of our new fire fighters
to Fire Fighter I class at the Dakota County Technical College. The cost
for each student, including all books and materials, is $165.00. Upon
completion of this class, these fire fighters would be eligible to take the
state certification test.
Money for this purpose has been budgeted in Account #101-42210-01-308.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion by city council to authorize the fire department to spend
$825.00 on Fire Fighter I tuition.
COUNCIL ACTION:
