This item is a request to spend $60.00 for training purposes. Allan,
Brunacini, Fire Chief from Phoenix, Arizona, author of "Fire Command" and
the person who is supposed to be the expert on fire departments today will
be in town for a one -day seminar. The seminar will be held on Saturday
September 28, 1991. It is scheduled to take place at Lakewood Community
College in White Bear. Because of its; popularity, it is expected that the
class will fill up quickly and that is why the registrations are being sent
at this time.
Money for training and seminars has been budgeted in the 1991 budget. This
expenditure would come out of`Account '#101-42210-01-437.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion by city council to allow the fire department to spend $60.00 to
send 6 fire fighters to a one -day seminar on September 18, 1991.
