SPECIAL MEETING
AUGUST 26, 1991
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the
City Council of the City of Rosemount was duly held on Monday,
August 26, 1991, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City
Hall.
Mayor Napper called the meeting to order with Councilmembers
Willcox, Oxborough and Klassen present. Councilmember Wippermann
was absent. Also in attendance were staff members David
Bechtold, Ron Wasmund, Lyle Knutsen, Jeff May, Scott Aker, Susan
VanderHeyden and Stephan Jilk.
City Administrator Jilk presented discussion on the proposed
levy, the preliminary budget, explained cuts in state aid and the
approach staff has taken in drafting the recommendations for this
budget and levy.
Council's discussion centered around the proposed use of
equipment certificates and the increase in the levy for 1992.
MOTION by Klassen to adopt A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PRELIMINARY
1992 OPERATING BUDGET, THE 1992 - 1996 CIP BUDGET AND THE 1992
LEVY REQUIRED BY THE CITY OF ROSEMOUNT. SECOND by Napper. Ayes:
Willcox, Napper, Oxborough, Klassen. Nays: 0.
MOTION by Napper to adjourn.
Nays: 0.
