MINNESOTA VALLEY January 17, 1991 GOUNTy c A \\T'S T1 Mr. Steven Jilk City Administrator City of Rosemount 2875 - 145th Street West Rosemount, Minnesota 5506E Dear Steve: HUMANE SOCIETY JAN 2 ; 1991 .:.? 'jam:{e...V. This letter is to provide an update on the status of the building purchase for the Dakota County Animal Shelter and an invoice for the per capita allocation from the city of Rosemount. I have enclosed a copy of the purchase agreement with the city of Burnsville on the property located at 1313 East Highway 13 in Burnsville, where the Dakota County animal shelter will be located. We have spent the past two months going through the conditional use process with the city of Burnsville and were approved by the Planning Commission last Monday. We are scheduled to go before the city council for final approval on Tuesday, January 22nd. We have already received a per capita allocation from one of the other participating cities, however, some of the other cities have wanted to wait until final approval. Again, we anticipate this occurring this coming Tuesday. I will send you a copy of that resolution (and/or whatever other documentation you need) after our hearing. It is our understanding that the per capita commitment from Rosemount is $4,000.00. This letter is to serve as the "invoice" for that amount. The check should be made out to the Minnesota Valley Humane Society (of Dakota County). As we have said before, we appreciate the support you have continually shown to our project and will do whatever we can to assist your community with animal -related issues. We are anticipating opening our doors in April/May of 91. Minnesota Valley Humane Society • 14451 County Road 11, Suite 174, Burnsville, MN 55337 • (612) 891-5150 .' Da'.'.
