Jon Glor, a six year member of the Rosemount Fire Department, has submitted
his resignation effective January 22, 1991. Jon indicated that for work
related reasons he would not be remaining in Rosemount for the ten -years
minimum vesting requirement. He also expects to be very busy with work and
not able to put in the required time for re -certification as a first
responder, passing a stress test and beginning the 45 hours training that
-will be required of all fire fighters in order to be trained to a Level I
Hazardous Material Response Team.
At the annual meeting of the Rosemount Fire Department on January 22, 1991,
the members voted to accept Jon's resignation that date.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion by city council to ratify the fire department's action and
accept Jon Glor's resignation from the department effective
January 22, 1991.
COUNCIL ACTION:
Approved.
