Based upon the budget cuts adopted by the legislature we will experience a
$60,000 cut in State Aid this July by having the first of two Local
Government Aid (LGA) payments reduced by that amount.
In an attempt to react to that cut and to maintain current operations I
will be proposing cuts in budgets utilizing several methods without having
to cut positions or services. We will be able to accomplish this mainly by
delaying the replacement of certain personnel in 1991 and by cutting
conference and training opportunities budgeted for.
I will provide more information for discussion at our meeting for
consideration at the February 19, 1991 meeting.
