Attached please find a request for assistance in carrying out the 1991
Rosemount High School graduation party.
The last two years the City has donated $200 to this event. I am again
recommending that this amount be considered. This money has been budgeted
for and would come from Account -101-41110-01-598.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to approve an expenditure of $200 from account it 101-4111-01-598
for Rosemount High School Graduation Party.
COUNCIL ACTION:
Approved.

REPRESENTING THE COMMUNITIES OF ROSEMOUNT, EAGAN, LAKEVILLE, BURNSVILLE,
APPLE VALLEY, AND INVER GROVE HEIGHTS
Dear Friends of Rosemount High School:
For over 10 years the parents of graduating seniors have provided a safe, drug
and alcohol free "all night party" on graduation night. The support of this
annual event buy businesses such as yours has been vital to its success.
The Senior Class Party has no ongoing funding source. The party is organized
through all volunteer help. Money collected from tickets purchased by the
seniors does not cover the full cost of this party. Additional expenses must be
paid for through donations.
The additional expense of providing this "all night party" means that we are
asking the community businesses and organizations to help us. All money and
donations collected are used to cover the cost of decorations, food, prizes, and
entertainment. In turn, your business or organization will be acknowledged for
its commitment to our young adults.
Please support our Senior Class Party. Your donation of either a prize or
monetary gift would be greatly appreciated. You may return the enclosed card to
us today or if you would like more information on our party, give us a call.
