This item is a request to spend approximately $600.00 of the Rosemount Fire
Department's training budget to send six members to the Mankato Technical
College for a fire and rescue sectional school. The classes they would be
attending would be held on February 16 and 17, 1991. The members who are
requesting to attend are David Bailey, Joe Gerrits, Scott Adrian, Greg
Smith, Mike Haeg and Doug Stauffer. They are enrolled in various classes;
all appropriate to the functions that they serve on the Rosemount Fire
Department.
The $600.00 expenditure would cover registration fees, lodging, and meals
for all six persons for the two days of training.
Money for this purpose has been budgeted and is available in the 1991 fire
department budget.
This item will be expended from Account 101-42210-01-207 and 101-42210-01-331
(207 - $200, 331 - $400) out of the 1991 budget.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion by city council to allow the fire department to spend
approximately $600.00 for training classes for six fire fighters.
COUNCIL ACTION:
Approved.
