This item is a request to send two of our newest fire fighters to a Fire
Fighter I class. The class will be starting in January of 1991 and
continuing for approximately 13 weeks. The cost of the class, including
all student workbooks and materials, is $165.00 per student for a total of
$330.00.
These two persons do need to enroll in a daytime Fire Fighter I class.
Previously, in 1990, we did have approval to send them but the class was
cancelled due to lack of participation.
This item will be expended from Account 101-42210-01-207 out of the 1991
budget.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion by the city council to allow the fire department to spend
$330.00 to send two fire fighters to Fire Fighter I class at the
Dakota County Technical College.
COUNCIL ACTION:
Approved.
