Accent Bids/Award Contract for Pumphouse #8
On Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. , we opened bids for the construction of
Well Pumphouse #8. Attached is a tabulation of bids received. As you can
see, the apparent lowest responsible bidder is Richmar Construction at
$204 , 560. This is 2� over the Engi,neers Estimate of $200, 000.
Recommended action for Council to take is receive the bids and award the
contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Richmar Construction, at
$204 ,560 and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the Contract
Documents.

BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, �
Minnesota, as foll.ows:
1. All bids on construction of Well Pumphouse No. 8 are
hereby received and tabulated.
2. The bid of Richmar Construction in the amount of $204,560
for the construction of said improvements in accordance
with the plans and specif�cations and advertisement for
bids is the lowest responsible bid and shall be and
hereby is accepted.
3 . The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
' to enter into a contract with said bidd�r for the
construction of said improvements for and on behalf of
. the City of Rosemount.
� 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with
their bids, except that the deposit of the successful
bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained
until a contract has been executed.
ADOPTED this 2Oth day of February, 1990.
