Apnrove Specifieations/Authorize Ad for Bids for New Sewer STetter and
Truck
The Utility Commission at its F�bruary 12, 1990 meeting recommended
approval of the specifications for the replacement of our existing 1974
jetter and 1983 truck chassis. The cost for this replacement would come �
from the water and sewer C. I.P. fund.
Also attached is a copy of my memorandum to the Utility Commission, for
Councils information.
Recommended action for Council to consider is to approve the specifi.cations
for the sewer jetter and truck chassis and authorize advertisa.ng for a
March 23, 1990 bid opening at 10t00 a.m.

Jettina Truck
� Attached to this memo is a copy of the speaificatfons for a new sewer
jetting truck to repiace our existing one. our exi�ting truck and chassis
consist of a 1983 GMC that we purchased in 1988. The �etting machine on
the truck is a 1976 Rockwell machine and is �cheduled fcrr retirement in
1990.
The specs are for a jetting machine that is pawered off the truck engine
thereby allowing us to carry more water.
Recommended action for Utility Commission to take is to recommend approval
of the specifications and authorize an advertisement for bids setting a bid
date of March 23, 1990 at 10:00 a.m.
