RE: Purchase of Pipe and Materials for Water Line
One of the projects that the Park staff will be working on this summer
is to construct a nursery site in Erickson Park. For this to be a
viable pro3ect water to the site is required.
Mater�als for the pro�Pct t�as been estimated between $2,500.00 -
3,000.00 by Boyd Bailey, the engineering tech assigned to the Parks
Department. This does not include irrigation on the site, only the
water main, hydrant, etc. required to bring the water to the site and
to have taps for its use.
The water line would be from an existing hydrant located on the
southwest corner of the soccer field to the planned nursery site
located in an area north of the soccer field. (drawing is attached)

Council action requested is to authorize the Parks Department to
purchase materials from Water Products Company £or a water lime in
Erickson Park for an amount not to exceed $3,200.00.
Funds are available from the Fark Dedication account for this pro�ect.
