4k. $ET HEARING DATES - ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT$
It is requested that City Council set hearing d�tes for two
separ�te Zoning Ordinance Amendments.
First, it is requested that Council set a h�aring date to coh�ider
rezoning of 20 acres of property situated in Sect3.on 32 frorn
Agriculture to General Industrial. Th�s rezohing pertains to the
Knutson Rubbish praposed Material Recovery Facility. The Plaflning
Commission has recommended approval of this rezoning request. It
is requested that Council set a hearing date of April 17, 1990, at
8: 0o p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible to consider this item.
Secondly, it is requested that Council set a hearinq to consider
a Zoning Text Amendment which would modify the zoning ordinance to
establish a permitting procedure for A.M. Radio Antennae. Parker
Communications, owner of A.M. Radio Stat3on KTCJ (Twin eiti�s Jazz)
has petitit�ned the City to consider this teXt amendment to the
Zoning Ordin�nce. The Planning Commission h�s consid�red this item
and recommended approval of the amendment to City Council. It is
requested that Council set a hearin� dat� af May 1, 1990, �t 8l00
p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible to consider this it�m.
