Rosemount High School would like to hold a Parade in conj nction with the
High Schools 1990 homecoming. This parade would take place on
October 12, 1990 between 6c00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
The parade route is as shown on the attached map. City police officers
and police reserve will be used to conduct traffic control.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: �
Motion to approve the use of the city streets and requested city
personnel assistance for the 1990 Rosemount High School Homecoming
Parade.
COUNCIL ACTION:
Approved.

Dear Mr. Jilk;
As you know, the Rosemount High School Student Gouncil would like
to sponsor and organize a homecQming parade. By doing this we hope
to bring students together to work on floats and show sehool spirit
by getting back to tradition. At the same time it will provide
advertisement for local businesses and school �p�rts teams and clubs.
We would like to propose the following fo� th� 1990 homecoming parade:
Date: Friday October 12th
Time: 6:00 p.m. to approximately 6:30 p.m.
Route: Starting from the Loch Pharmacy parking lot,
proceeding west on 145th St. to Chili Ave. , then right
on Chili down to the high school stadium.
We also ask that if you would please pass this along to the Chief
of Police for approval of main and intersecting street closure during
the parade and a parade permit. Thank you.

Homecoming Parade Adendum
Dear Mr. Jilk;
We estimate the parade to be no more than 20 units long,
I have secured the Loch Pharmacy parking lot and the Kenrose
Shopping Center lot for the line up. Therefore, we will not
need or use any part of Highway 3. Enclosed is a map of the
city with the route mapped out on it. Thanks for all of your
help!
