Letter of Resignatian
Mayor Napper has received a letter of resignation from Mr. Ron Jacobson
from his position on the Planning Commission. Mr. Jacobson's term was to
end on January 1, 1991.
Since there is a policy in place to guide the selection of commission
members, it is recommended that this policy be followed. According to that
policy mid-term vacancies are to be filled until that term expires. With
this in mind two options are open:
1. Fi11 the term with an appointee whose term would expire in
January and who could be considered for re-appointment then, or
2. Wait until then to fill the asition left b this resi nation.

I would recommend the latter.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to accept the resignation of Mr. Ron Jacobson from the
Rosemount Planning Commission effective October 2, 1990.
COIINCIL ACTION:
Accepted.
