I.S.D. #196 has submitted a final plat for Shannon Park School Addition,
which includes property being developed as the new Shannon Park Elementary
School and Shannon Park, a City of Rosemount Community Park. Enelosed with
this review is a copy of the Shannon Park School Addition Final Plat and a
Resolution authorizing City appraval of the plat.
The purpose of platting the school/park site at this time is to allow two
existing metes and bounds division parcels to be divided, as indicated on
the final plat, into four new parcels owned by the District and the Gity.
The final p?at is in canformance with requirements established upon Council
review of the preliminary plat and meets all zoning and subdivision
ordinance reguirements .
The Planning Commission, at its September 25, 1990, Meeting recommended
that City Council approve the Shannon Park School Addition final plat.
The City Council, at its September '18, 1990 Regular Meeting, approved the
joint powers agreement, governing the use, maintenance and ownership of the
plat.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SHANNON PARK SCHOOL ADDITION
FINAL PLAT
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemount has approved the Shannon Park
School Additian Preliminary Plat.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Rosernaunt has
recommended approval of the Shannon Park School Addition final
plat.
W�i�REAS, the City of Rosemount and ISD 196 have approved a joint
powers agreement governing -the development and the usage of the
Shannon Park Elementary School/City Park property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of
Rosemount hereby approves the Shannon Park School Addition final
plat.
ADOPTED this 2nd day of October, 1990 .
