RE: ITEM FOR JUNE 5, 1990 COUNCIL MEETING
NEW BUSINESS
Receive BidsJAward Contract 1990-1 Pine Bend Trail Improvements, Citv
Proi ect #199
At the May 15, 1990 Council meeting this Contract was held over because the
cost were in excess of the feasibility report estimate. Since that time our
Consulting Engineer has reviewed the quantities and made the recommendations
that were described in their memo regarding the public hearing on this
project. By processing a Change Order to implement those changes we would
be at about $183, 000. This is within the original feasibility report
estimate cost xange.
Assuming Council approves the project at the public hearing, then recommended
action for Council to cor, sider would be to receive the bids and award
Contract 1990-1, Pine Bend Trail Street Reconstruction, to the lowest
responsible bidder, Ace Blacktop.
