Approve Cost Sharinq Aqreement with Qakota County for Aerial
Photo Diqitizincx
This item consist of formal Council a�proval of the cost sharing agreement
with Dakota County for aerial phatography and stereo digitizing that we
presented at the last meeting. The formal agreement will be put together
after Dakota Electric approves it. This memo will provide some backgraund
on this matter and also recommended action for Council to consider.
The pakota County Attorneys' office drafted the document spelling out the
cast sharing between Dakota County, Dakota Electric and the City of
Rosemount. I have reviewed it with respect to its content relating to the
cost sharing information and related topics. Our City Attorney, Dave
Grannis, has reviewed the agreement from a legal standpoint. Neither of us
feel there are any problems regarding Council approving this agreement. At
the last Council meetinq, April 3, 1990 Council authorized setting aside
the funds for this project. Now all that remains is to approve the cost
sharing agreement between the County, Dakota Eleetric and ourselves.
Recommended action for Council to consider is to approve of the cost
sharing agreement with Dakota County and Dakota Electric for aerial
pMotography and stereo digitizing and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to
execute the agr�ement.
