Mr. Otto Ped, 4992 145th Street East, has petitioned the City to consider a
rezoning of his 160 acre property situated south of C. S.A.H. 42, 1-� miles
east of �TH 52 . Mr. Ped's request is to rezone the property in question
from Agriculture Preserve to the Agriculture District. The property to be
rezoned is legally described as follows: the West 87.5 acres of the
Southeast Quarter and the East 75 acres of the Southeast Quarter of Section
29, Town�hip 115, Range 18, Dakota County, Minnesota, subject to Highway
Easement dver the North 50 f eet.
Attached with this Executive Summary is a copy of a location map indicating
the site boundaries and a copy of Ordinance B-8 . Also attached is a notice
to area residents and 'corresponding mailing list.
The property is no longer enrolled in the Metropolitan Agricultural
Preserve Program, its status in that program expired in February of 1990,
The property is currently being used for agricultural purposes which is
consistent with permitted uses in the Agriculture District.

� AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE B
CITY OF ROSEMOUNT ZONING ORDINANCE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMOUNT, MINNESOTA ORDAINS AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. $, adopted September 19, 1989, entitled"City of Rosemount
Zoning Ordinance," is hereby amended to rezone from Agriculture Preserve to Agriculture the
following described property located within the City of Rosemount, Minnesota to-wit:
, The West 87.5 acres of the Southeast Quarter and the East '75 acres of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 29, Township 115, Range I8, Dakota County, Minnesota, subject to
Highway Easement over the North 50 feet.
SECTION 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Rosemount referred to and described in
said Ordinance No. B as that certain map entitled, "Zoning Map of the City of Rosemount,"
shall not be republished to show the aforesaid xezoning, but the Clerk shall appropriately mark
the said zoning map on file in the Clerk's office for the purpose of indicating the rezoning
hereinabove provided for in this Ordinance and all of the notaUon references and other
information shown thereon are hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this
Ordinance.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and
publication according to law.
Enacted and ordained into an Ordinance this 18th of September, 1990.

will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 18, 1990, in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall, 2875 145th Street West,
beginning at 8 : 00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible.

The Purpase of this hearing is to consider a rezoning from AGP
Agriculture Preserve to AG Agriculture, property legally described
as follows:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the City Council of the City of Rosemount
will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 18, 1990, in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall, 2875 145th Street West,
beginning at 8: 00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible.
The Purpose of this hearing is to consider a rezoning from AGP
Agriculture Preserve to AG Agriculture, property legally described
as follows:
The West 87 .5 acres of the Southeast Quarter {SE 1/4) and
the East 75 acres of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) ,
Section 29, Township 115, Range 19, Dakota County,
Minnesota, subject to Highway Easement over north' �0
feet.
Such persons as desire to be heard with referen�e to this hearing
will be heard at this time.
