RE; Lisa Jost Attending Community Educat3on. Seminar
Each summer the Community Education Department of the State of
Minnesota holds its summer convention at Madden's Lodge in Brainerd.
The main emphasis of their meetings is in the areas of community
volunteerism and advisory committees.
From my ten years experience as a Community Education Director prior to
coming to Rosemount I had found this state convention to be one that
provides many positive learning experiences. Lisa Jost attended this
program last year and we have budgeted (account l� 331.1) for her to
attend again this year. This convention is being scheduled for one of
her two yearly state conventions that T would like her to attend.
The dates of the convention are June 10 - 11 - 12. Council action is
requested to authorize Lisa Jost to attend the 1990 State Community
Education Conventiaai in Brainerd.
