You will notice that three dealers responded with the apparent low bid coming from Jeff Belzer 's Todd Chevrolet. Their bid came in at 513, 707. 92. Their delivery is subject to locating one on the G. M. C. computer locating service for immediate delivery or 6 weel�: delivery with factory order. The other two bids received were both from Ford dealers. Une from Valley Ford of Apple Valley (formerly Wilroy ) and one f-rom Farmington Ford (formerly �im Haugen) . Those bids 514, 729 and 514, 488 respectively included immediatE delivEry, but are both ove•r the 514� 000 budgeted. I did contact Earb Sutey'� officE at Hennipenn Caunty ta chec�: their bid prices for 1990. This year they had no r�equests f�r 1/2 ton 4-wheel drivE pickups. They had either a compact with extended cab or a 3/4 ton. Both of them are over S14, U00. As a basis for comparison I checked with the deputy registrar ta see what the State of Minnesota uses for base valve an a 199U 1/2 ton �x4. They use 513, 020 and add for optians. It would appear that 513, 707 is reasonable, equipped the way we asl.ed. In addition to the price of thE vehicle we must al�o pay for licen�e. Chec�;ing with the deputy registrar again, we would have 6% excise tax, 510. 00 administration fee, 510. UO plate fee. S2. 00 title fee, and 53. 50 filing fee for a total of 5847. 92. With the ariditional cost of tax and license addEd ta the bid of 513, 707. 00 it put the total cost of the ve3�icle 5554. 92 over budget. �SS S, �4 I feel the bid is reasonable and app•ropriate.
