City Council authorization was given to procf—rl with projects
relating to Shannon Park development. The account. # for that
project is 221 - 49021 - 01 - 530.
One aspect of the project where funding was apptoved was fence ma' i.al
and installation along the base paths of the five little league
(baseball / softball) fields.
Our estimated cost was $7,200.00 for 900 feFt r,i r,' fence.
The quotes were received as follows:
Dakota Fence $ 12,960.00
Fenco 12,195.00
Crowley 10,620.00
Although fence costs are higher than expected w-. feel that the pr -s
do properly reflect the present fair market pr:ir-rs. It
Authorization is being asked to utilize the $7,200 as was
previously authorized by council action and to iinp park dedicatio7
funding to pay for the additional $3,420.00 in costs.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept quotes and award project to Crow1Ff Fence Company for
baseline fence in Shannon Park for the amount of $10,620.00.
COUNCIL ACTION:
Approved.
