Council accepted Blake Crandall�s resignation at the November 20, 1990
Council meeting. At that time it was Councils desire to wait until
after the budget hearing before authorizing placing an ad for this
vacant position. Now that the budget hearing has been completed, I
would like to advertise for filling this position. My estimated
timetable for doing this is as follows:

Close Applications
Hold Interviews
Recommend Candidate
Begin Work
December 19
January 18
February 14 or 15
March 5
April 1
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve advertisement for engineering
technician position.
COUNCIL ACTION:
Approved.

ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
The City of Rosemount is taking applications for an engineering technician.
The position is responsible for providing technical assistance in the areas
of engineering, surveying, construction and maintenance of the city's
streets and utilities infrastructure. Desirable qualifications include
being a graduate of an accredited civil engineering technical vocational
school and having a minimum of 5 years related experience. Salary range
from $22,394 to $31,455. Applications will be taken through January 18,
1991. All applicants must submit a City Application for Employment to the
City Clerk, City of Rosemount, 2875 145th Street West, Rosemount,
