At the December 4, 1990 Regular Council Meeting, Council set a public
hearing for December 18, 1990 to consider applications received from
Lawrence Walsh, President of Louie's, Incorporated for an Off Sale
Intoxicating Liquor License and a Special Sunday Intoxicating Liquor
License.
Mr. Walsh is proposing to operate a bar/lounge at the location formerly
known as Kady's, located at 14450 South Robert Trail. As you were advised
previously, at this point in time, Mr. Walsh has only leased the
"bar/lounge" side of the building.
Mr. Walsh has informed me that he will continue to use the trade name
"Kady's" for his place of business.
Mr. Walsh has met all conditions of the City Code with regards to license
fees, liquor liability and a clean criminal record.
Mr. Walsh has been advised that before receiving the liquor licenses, if
approved by Council, he must be issued a Certificate of Occupancy by the
City's building official. To date this has not been accomplished, but Mr.
Walsh has informed me he will be in contact with Ron Wasmund some time next
week.
Mr. Walsh will be present at the public hearing to answer any questions
from Council regarding his applications.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: APPROVE ISSUANCE OF AN ON SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR
LICENSE AND A SUNDAY ON SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE TO LOUIE'S,
INCORPORATED, DOING BUSINESS AS KADY'S, LOCATED AT 14550 SOUTH ROBERT
TRAIL, FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 1991 TO JANUARY 1, 1992, SUBJECT TO
ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY BY THE CITY BUILDING OFFICIAL.

INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSES
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of
Rosemount, Minnesota, has scheduled a Public Hearing for 8:00
o'clock p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, Tuesday,
December 18, 1990, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 2875 -
145th Street West, Rosemount, Minnesota.
This public hearing is being held to consider an Application for
On Sale License for Intoxicating Liquor and an Application for
Sunday On Sale Intoxicating Liquor License presented by Louie's,
Incorporated.
The applicant is proposing to operate a restaurant and lounge
located at 14450 South Robert Trail, Rosemount, Minnesota,
formerly known as Kady's.
Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the above
hearing item will be heard at this meeting. Written comments
will be accepted up to the time of the hearing and will be
included in the discussion at this hearing.

APPLICATIONS FOR ON SALE AND SPECIAL SUNDAY
INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSES
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of
Rosemountf Minnesota, has scheduled a Public Hearing for 8:00
o'clock p.m.t or as soon thereafter as possible, Tuesday,
December 18, 1990, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 2875 -
145th Street West, Rosemount, Minnesota.
This public hearing is being held to consider an Application for
On Sale License for Intoxicating Liquor and an Application for
Sunday On Sale Intoxicating Liquor License presented by Louie's,
Incorporated.
The applicant is proposing to operate a restaurant and lounge
located at.14450 South Robert Trail, Rosemount, Minnesota,
formerly known as KadyIS.
Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the above
hearing item will be heard at this meeting. Written comments
will be accepted up to the time of the hearing and will be
included in the discussion at this hearing.
