RE: CIP Cha.nges
At the Council meeting of May 15, 1990 the city council authorized
changes in various CIP accounts for Parks & Recreatian.
The item pertaining to the curb and gutter in Erickson Park was listed
with the wrong CIP accounting number. I have attached the page with the
information relating to this account with this memo.
Rather than account 46 (437) which is related to hockey rinks the
account should ha.ve been 52 (538) which relates to the Erickson Fark
curb and gutter project.
The only factor in error was the actual account numbers identified.
This memo serves to inform council of the error in the formal request
and action that was taken.

KE: Changes in CIP Funding for 1990
I?ue to a Building Trades person being hired for the Department there
will be several obs that would have been contracted out that can now
be done in house. These relate to shelter work, concrete forming and
installation selating to walkways and shelter pads.
One other item that will alter costs associated with pZanned park
development projects is the purchase of the paving machine for the City
rather than a crack filling machine.
With the paver our crew will be able to do the installing of some of
the parking lot areas of the parks including drive way areas, most of
the curb and gutter work in Erickson Park, and the work related to
installation of basketball courts in Camfield Park and Winds Parks.
