The Valley Wood Partners (William Dolan and John Voss) have petitioned
the City to rezone a 40 acre parcel of property situated on the south
side of County Road 38 abutting Rosemount' s Boundary with Apple
Valley. The Council may know this property as the Mullery Property.
The Valley Wood Partners have proposed an eight lot, rural residential
subdivision. The property in question is currently designated Rural
Residential in the Comprehensive Guide Plan and is currently zor_ed
Agriculture. As part of the plat approval process, it will be
necessary to rezone the property to the Rural Residential District.
The Planning Commission has recommended approval to City Council of
rezoning of the proposed Valley Wood Estates subdivision to the Rural
Residential District.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: A motion to adopt Approved by:
Ordinance B-7, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE B,

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE B
CITY OF ROSEMOUNT ZONING ORDINANCE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMOUNT, MINNESOTA ORDAINS AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No.B, adopted September 19, 1989,entitled"City of Rosemount
Zoning Ordinance,° is hereby amended to rezone from Agriculture to RR Rural Residential
the following described property located within the City of Rosemount, Minnesota to-wit:
The West Half of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section
18, Township 115, Range 19, Dakota County, Minnesota, Subject to
County Road 38.
SECTION 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Rosemount referred to and described in
said Ordinance No. B as that certain map entided, "Zoning Map of the City of Rosemount,'
shall not be republished to show the aforesaid rezoning, but the Clerk shall appropriately mark
the said zoning map on file in the Clerk's office for the purpose of indicating the rezoning
hereinabove provided for in this Ordinance and all of the notation references and other
information shown thereon are hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this
Ordinance.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and
publication according to law.
Enacted and ordained into an Ordinance this 4th day of September, 1990.

NOTICE 25 HEREBY GIVEN, the City Council of the City of ',Rosemount
will hold a Public Hearing to consider the item listed! beiow on
Tuesday, September 4, 1990, in the Council Chambers of, the City
Hall, 2875 145th Street West, beginning at 8:00 p.m. or as soon
thereafter as possible. The Public Hearing listed beloW pertains
to the following described property: '
The West Half (W 1/2 ) of the Southwest Quarter (SW ', 1/4)
of Section 18, Township 115, Range 19, subject to Hic�hway
Easement on the North 50 feet. '
The purpose of this hearing is to consider rezoning of th� proposed
Valley Wood Estates subdivision. This involves rezona.ng of an
approximately 40 acre parcel of property situated on the �outh side
of County Road 38 abutting Rosemount's boundary with Apple Valley
from the Agriculture District to the Rural Residential District.
